We’re Coming Back!

For LTC Paul Guelle, who assisted on the game winning goal.  Sometime in the early 1980’s by DVM during a UMD floor hockey game.  It was said out loud so that everyone in the gymnasium could hear when the DD was just scored on and fell behind 5 to 2 with less than half the game to play.  The DD won 6 to 5 in overtime.  Yes, I scored the winning goal in overtime, but I also scored to tie the game (5th DD goal), the 2nd DD goal, and assisted on goals 3 & 4 (for MSG Todd Guelle - I was the franchise for that day).

“E Pluribus Unum”

The nine most feared words in the United States:

I’m from the government, we are here to help.

President Ronald Reagan (year unknown)

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.  So, love the people who treat you right.  Love the ones who don't just because you can.  Believe everything happens for a reason.  If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.  If it changes your life, let it.  Kiss slowly.  Forgive quickly.  God never said life would be easy.  He just promised it would be worth it.

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Ronald Reagan
